When Karn Skating Dynamics, the largest skating school of its kind in North America came to us and said that they wanted to start their first foray on to the web with a simple site that could provide general information on their popular skating clinics and gradually add functionality as they saw fit, we were happy to help. We knew that we could deliver a site that could be implemented quickly before their busy summer season hit and that when the time came to add site features, the site would be true to its extensible design – able to sustain the parts that work correctly and modify or add features as their business demanded it.

This approach proved to be efficient and cost effective, allowing them to test site functionality and traffic levels before adding features. After the sorting through an unexpected volume of  email inquiries coming from the site and crunching daily site traffic using Google Analytics (see above), it was clear that enough visitors were coming to the site to justify trying a simple contact form from the excellent online form service, Wufoo. Again, this approach has allowed the site to grow organically; though we could implement a custom form that they could use to register skaters and take payment directly from the site with an ecommerce solution, the Wufoo form is (for the time being) is a free solution that fufils the requirements of the client.

This approach seems more appropriate than building them a custom solution that they’re not ready to use or -more importantly – pay for.  When their business demands it, the site we built at KarnSkatingDynamics.com will be able to add valuable features to help make their business easier and more effective.
